In field hockey, the goalkeeper is literally the last line of defense. The skills, techniques and tactics of playing the position require effective and supportive teaching and training. That's why the NFHS, in partnership with USA Field Hockey, is proud to bring you the course Coaching Field Hockey: Goalkeeping. Here, you'll find interactive instruction on proper equipment and how to wear it, principles of positioning, kicking the ball, diving for saves, effective communication and much more. NFHS National Coaching Credential
The NFHS Learning Center offers a 3-level national coaching credential that helps you gain knowledge you can use to provide a fun, educational, and a safer environment for your students.
